The largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, Binance, has announced in a blog post that it would shut down its Ethereum wallet on June 27 for maintenance.
According to the post, the maintenance should take about two hours. Trading operations will continue unaffected and only deposits and withdrawals of all ERC-20 tokens will be stopped.
The aforementioned operations will start up again as soon as all required technical operations are finished. BNB emphasized that it had no plans to make any additional announcements.
The business has lately performed several wallet maintenance procedures, including this one.
BNB performed maintenance on its Tron wallet, which also momentarily halted TRX deposits and withdrawals. Prior to that, Bitcoin withdrawals and deposits were affected in a similar way on June 14, which the firm representative attributed to a stalled on-chain transaction.
