Crypto.com, the well-known cashback business in Cronos, has integrated Apple Pay, which is currently only available to customers in the US (CRO).
Users were advised that Apple Pay had been added as a payment method in the Crypto.com app. To use the new Apple Pay function, users are reportedly need to first link their credit or debit card to Apple Wallet on their iPhone.
Until then, users won’t be able to buy cryptocurrencies quickly and securely using Apple Pay via the Crypto.com App. The new integration is presently only available to users in the US, with a promise from Crypto.com that it will soon be accessible to everyone else.
Early in May, the popular cashback app Cronos (CRO), which has been operational since 2018, made an announcement about updating its Visa Card rewards program. Since the new plan went into effect in June 2022, the updated staking incentives, monthly CRO Card rewards cap, and cashback rates in CRO have all been put into place.
With more than 200 million bitcoin users globally, this partnership presents a huge market opportunity for online retailers. They want to get cryptocurrency users to visit their websites. With no transaction fees and just 0.5 percent for settlements, connecting to Crypto.com Pay takes a few minutes for retailers. 2.7 million transactions per second with a 50-microsecond core delay are permitted by the matching engine of Crypto.com, which places it constantly among the top.
