During the past month, SHIB has attracted more than 20,000 new investors. According to CoinMarketCap, there were 1,178,157 SHIB holders on June 12, as of July 12, that number has become 1,200,270, an increase of 22,113 holders.
Previously, this meme coin also witnessed outstanding growth at the end of last month. According to statistics from global data intelligence firm Morning Consult, Shiba Inu along with Dogecoin remain among the most popular cryptocurrencies in the US.
According to on-chain data, a whale bought the dip of 20,000 billion SHIB (equivalent to $210 million) on July 4 prior to the release of the Shibarium. This wallet address is said to have sold off XRP to pour money into SHIB. Immediately, this meme coin surged by nearly 21%.
At the time of writing, SHIB is trading at $0.00001028, down 6.12% in the past 24 hours because Bitcoin failed to hold the $20,000 price zone.
