LG is the latest organization to jump into the metaverse through a trademark application for LG ART LAB submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on July 19.
According to the application, the company plans to provide TV software for NFT issuance and trading, trading software, brokerage, and digital asset management. In addition, crypto wallet payment services and software are in the metaverse.
Before this announcement, LG released many NFT-related products. In May, the company partnered with media artist Refik Anadol to display NFT artwork on OLED TVs.
