What is Ancient8?
Ancient8 is building a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) and infrastructure layer for GameFi with a focus on community and software platforms.
As Vietnam’s largest blockchain gaming guild, Ancient8 enables everyone to build and play in the Metaverse through scholarship, education, community, institutional-grade research, and blockchain software products.

Ancient8 is one of those guilds with a mission to reach, educate, and empower the first native generation of metaverse citizens on the blockchain. It is by far the largest guild in Vietnam.
On June 8, 2022, during the bear market, Ancient8 announced it had successfully raised $6 million in a private round of funding led by Makers Find and C2 Ventures. With these funds, Ancient8 will accelerate the development of the infrastructure for GameFi and the metaverse by building the next generation of software products, communities, and guilds.
What is the unique selling point?
As a Gaming Guild, Ancient8 possesses the features that its predecessors have available such as:
- Sponsorship and gaming mentorship program: allows players to borrow NFT to participate in popular games and earn rewards, while receiving instruction from the top “masters” of Ancient8 Academy.
- Software and technology support: providing players with tools and technology to help with gaming and scholarship management.
In addition, Ancient8 possesses unique characteristics that few Gaming Guilds have:
- Ancient8 Academy: offers a comprehensive curriculum designed by the professional game research team from Ancient8, including exclusive courses to prepare Ancient8 members to play each game at a level most competitive. Ancient8 Research Portal produces independent research at a scale that is both high-quality and intended for all experience levels – from blockchain gaming newbies to professional analysts. It allows our readers to dive deeper into a project’s gameplay, team, tokenomics, community, etc.
Research Portal content will be available in two modes: Public and Exclusive. Content in Public mode will be available to everyone, while Exclusive mode will only be accessible to partner projects and GameFi companies.
