Chinese province cuts off Bitcoin miners from hydropower plants -Crypto news 2021

Yingjiang County regulators in Yunnan, China have issued an extreme warning to hydropower plants to not provide electrical energy to firms concerned in bitcoin mining (BTC).

The latest report alleges that the Yingjiang County People’s Government Bureau issued a discovery to hydropower plants to step up monitoring of bitcoin mining. According to the announcement, energy plants got till Tuesday, August twenty-fourth, to take miners out of the “illegal” provide of their community.

After the deadline, the county reportedly plans to “forcibly dismantle” energy to BTC  services in its jurisdiction.
