The Meta giant has confirmed the extension of NFT integration across 100 countries after a number of tests.
After integrating with Coinbase Wallet and Dapper, the Meta giant revealed it is prepared to roll out NFT in more than 100 countries, the company’s founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed in a Facebook post.
The Americas, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa are areas that support the expansion. Users can now connect their digital wallet to Instagram to start publishing their digital collections after a pilot program began in May.
Along with Ethereum and Polygon, Meta will also introduce support for Flow, the blockchain created by Dapper Labs. Navdeep Singh, the product manager at Meta, reported that Facebook is also conducting similar tests back in November.
The aforementioned action once again demonstrates CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s serious goal since changing the name of Facebook. However, the company’s metaverse division was responsible for the $2.8 billion loss in the second quarter.
