BAYC Sales Skyrocketed 100% When Ape #5383 Sold For $1.45 million

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has seen a significant increase in overall sales volume and the number of merchants over the past 24 hours.

This happened as Bored Ape #5383 sold for 777 ETH, worth around $1.45 million at the time of this writing.

Bored Ape Yacht Club is arguably the most popular collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and certainly one of the highest-priced collections. At the time of this writing, the floor price is 71.65 ETH.

Data from DappRadar shows that over the past 24 hours, BAYC has seen a significant increase in both merchants and sales. The total number of transactions in the past day increased by 125%, to 27, while the collection has 16 transactions, an increase of 100%. However, at the moment, the trading volume has decreased by 42%.

Most notably, the biggest value sale is Bored Ape #5383.

Th is a rare ape and it’s in the top 10% by means of how unique it is. Its traits include angry eyes, lumberjack clothes, solid gold fur, an army hat, an orange background, and a bored and unshaven mouth.
