The information on this page will be updated twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m. UTC. As a result, it encourages users to obtain the most recent “live” figures on Vasil from PoolTool or Cexplorer.
In an Aug 20 tweet, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, emphasizing the essence of proper communication, stated:
SPOs, developers, and exchanges are presently undertaking final integration testing and upgrading in preparation for the hard fork combinator event, with a node release candidate (1.35.3) given an updated downstream component.
Vasil functionality is reliant on the vast majority of block-producing nodes running the most recent 1.35.3 release. To initiate the upgrade, the last Vasil node candidate must create 75% of mainnet blocks (1.35.3). According to IOG’s assessment, the Vasil node has created 48% of mainnet blocks as of August 26.
The Cardano founder also recently revealed the launch time for the upcoming hard fork making the ADA community more “peaceful” after many update delays.
