The top cryptocurrency exchange in the world, Binance, is ramping up its hiring efforts with the newest advisor.
The largest exchange for digital assets in the world based on trade volume, has appointed Henrique Meirelles as an advisor. Meirelles held the positions of economy minister from 2016 to 2018 and president of the Brazilian Central Bank from 2003 to 2011.
Henrique Meirelles’ nomination to Binance’s new global advisory board was announced, and the business promised to provide more information on this project soon.
Binance may be taking compliance with international regulators much more seriously if it hires a prominent former government official. This comes after greater scrutiny from the public and the law.
