Cardano Released Latest Version Of Daedalus Wallet Fixing Critical Bugs

Cardano recently released the latest version of the Daedalus wallet with several important bug fixes. This has greatly increased the value and capabilities of the Cardano network. Overall, these developments have been in line with the upcoming Vasil hardfork event scheduled for September 22.

The most recent release of the Daedalus wallet from Cardano creator Input Output includes several significant updates. On social media, the team posted this news regarding the rollout of Daedalus 5.0.0 Mainnet.

Several problems, including errors while selecting syncing wallets during the process of redeeming incentivized testnet (ITN) prizes, would be resolved by this version. Additionally, following auto-update, the upgrade would remove older Daedalus executables from the earlier versions.

Vasil also brought about a significant update for Plutus, the Cardano blockchain’s smart contract platform. IOG claims that Vasil’s introduction of Plutus V2 scripts resulted in faster transaction throughput and improved cost-efficiency.

As a result, the Cardano network’s value and capacity significantly rose. Overall, these changes coincided with the planned Vasil hardfork, which is set for September 22.
