On September 15, the company tweeted a snapshot of a Budweiser can with the words “Beer.eth, king of NFTs” in the center, saying, “This Bud’s for the Merge.”
While the company did not disclose any other information on the cans, it did make a limited number for its NFT Beer Fest event in March.
When asked how they might obtain the unique cans, the beer producer joked that they could possibly make another appearance.
The company first acquired the Beer.eth domain for about $100,000 in August 2021 and has been active in the sector ever since, collaborating earlier this year with NFT horse racing game Zed Run to develop Budweiser-branded race courses and horses.
The Merge event took place successfully on September 15, the crypto community especially ETH holders are very excited about this. However, the price of ETH at the moment is not very positive.
