On September 13, the business applied for trademarks with the intention of selling NFT-authenticated movies, virtual drinks, barware, clothes, digital wallets, and collectibles in the metaverse.
Michael Kondoudis, a certified trademark attorney, confirmed the filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). According to the application, Jack Daniels wants to give downloadable computer software for giving information about beverages and clothes.
Individuals are also making inroads into the field, with the top music star Miley Cyrus having registered a trademark related to the metaverse.
The increased adoption of the metaverse by big businesses is also reflected in the overall number of cryptocurrency-related trademark registrations in the United States, which has gradually increased in recent months. Notably, the NFT and Metaverse sectors are establishing themselves as critical components for businesses to communicate and connect with their customers.
