The new fee exchange schedule will be released on Sep 20, 5 pm EST. In this announcement, Coinbase regulates the adjustment of tier and structure fees for specific transactions above $100,000-$1 million.
This adjustment is heading to “changes in global crypto trading volumes and asset prices, lowering the monthly trading volume required to qualify for the mid and upper tiers of our fee schedule” Coinbase said.
Tiers below $100,000-$1million are still applied to the current fee. That means the new fee regulation structure offers incentives for those higher volume transitions. 30-day volumes will be based to calculate the real volume tiers.
