Lead creator Shytoshi Kusama acknowledged on Sunday that Australia would probably be the final testing ground for the coin. The game has previously undergone a successful test in Vietnam.
The game became popular in the nation, which led the developers to increase server capacity by a factor of 50. Shiba Inu Games and PlaySide Studios, the top video game studio in Australia, partnered in December.
Shiba Eternity was featured at Gamescom, one of the biggest gaming conventions in the world, last month.
