Elon Musk’s Likened To Bitcoin By Doge Co-Founder

Billy Markus, who along with Australian Jackson Palmer established the meme coin DOGE in 2013 as a spoof of Bitcoin Elon Musk, confessing that he initially misread the remark.

After a lengthy pause and “laser eyes,” the Tesla CEO’s tweet may have given the impression that he was discussing Bitcoin.

Laser-eyed “female dog”

In response to a tweet Musk made about the recent success of Starlink, the co-founder of Dogecoin shared a picture of a dog with laser eyes. Billy Markus joked that he initially misread Musk’s tweet when he said that a “batch” of lasers had reached orbit.

He might have implied Musk was tweeting about the most popular digital currency Bitcoin based on the dog’s laser eyes. He further clarified in subsequent comments that he had actually read the word “batch” differently, leading to the image of a dog, most likely a female, reaching orbit with lasers.

Starlink Internet is now accessible on all continents, including Antarctica, according to a previous tweet from Elon Musk.

Elon Musk recently stopped mentioning bitcoin in his tweets

The Tesla CEO hasn’t addressed Bitcoin in his public messages (or Twitter memes) in a while. Midway through the summer was the last time he specifically referenced Bitcoin, or BTC together with DOGE, or cryptocurrency in general.

Musk was advised to increase his Bitcoin purchases by the founder of MicroStrategy, the business with the largest amount of BTC on its balance sheet, in August.

Elon once acknowledged having Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin for personal use and not for sale. Tesla did, however, sell some of the BTC it had been holding since the beginning of 2021 earlier this year.
