p2pecs.eth has found an airdrop scam from the site: metamask[.]airdrops[.]claims – which are communicated and discussed on many social channels.
The Official MetaMask Twitter has replied to this issue
MetaMask also informs those users not to trust anyone who sends direct links or messages. These are phishing scams that can attack your crypto account when you click on them. When open MetaMask, users are advised to navigate directly to Support or Get Help in case of any doubt of scamming.
