Charles Hoskinson – Cardano has received birthday wishes from Head of Input Output Global, the organization that founded the Cardano Foundation and the blockchain of the same name.
Charles Hoskinson shared a tweet that was made by the astronomer, astronaut, meteorologist, and physicist @Rainmaker1973, who has more than 665,200 followers on Twitter. This tweet includes a link to a Wikipedia entry about the person, Gerolamo Cardano, whose last name Hoskinson chose to give his blockchain-related invention.
This Italian scientist had a wide range of scientific interests, including math, physics, biology, astrology, chemistry, etc. Cardano was “one of the most prominent mathematicians of the Renaissance,” the article claims.
The Cardano team has just upgraded Vasil to use the Plutus 2.0 language, which has significantly facilitated the deployment of smart contracts on Cardano. After Vasil on September 22, hundreds of projects are now eager to develop smart contracts on Hoskinson’s network, according to a recent tweet from him.
