Dubai Hosts Events For Global Tech And Metaverse Community

The Dubai Metaverse Assembly, one of the biggest events of interest in the region, will be held in Dubai. The event promises to explore the digital economy and identify how governments, businesses, and communities can harness the limitless potential of the metaverse to create a stronger future.

According to an announcement by Emirates News Agency, Dubai Metaverse Assembly will be organized by Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the DFF, on 28-29 September at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071.

More than 30 local and worldwide professionals will talk at the two-day event, including international metaverse academics, designers, builders, and specialists in virtual education, e-commerce, medical, art, gaming, events, NFTs, and other digital assets.

In addition, speakers from notable worldwide companies like Meta, Binance, Mastercard, The Sandbox, Bedu, PWC, Accenture, BCG Digital Ventures, and Decentraland will be present.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Deputy Managing Director of Dubai Future Foundation, said:

“The specialized event is a first for the region and a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas on the best solutions, projects and industries likely to benefit from the metaverse’s vast potential. Through this inaugural event, we highlight the extraordinary potential of this immersive world to accelerate economic growth, drive innovation and create a fundamentally better future for humanity.”

During the event, over 25 programs, talks, and workshops will take place across the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 at Emirates Towers. They will address a wide range of subjects, including the development of solid and scalable metaverse infrastructure, the development of robust, business-friendly legislation, and the provision of government services in the digital world.

When the world’s foremost metaverse specialists gather in Dubai, they will discuss what big technology and private-sector organizations should do to establish an economy that might be worth $30 trillion in 15 years.

Insightful Plans for the Metaverse’s Future and Opportunities The Dubai Metaverse Assembly is the first gathering of its sort since His Highness established the Dubai Metaverse. The strategy was endorsed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in July.

The strategy intends to contribute $4 billion to Dubai’s GDP, support 40,000 virtual employment by 2030, and recruit 1,000 blockchain and metaverse technology businesses to make Dubai one of the world’s top ten metaverse economies.
