As was updated in an earlier Coincu News article, the most recent sale comes after the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) issued a Red Notice to Terra founder, Do Kwon. In 24 hours, LUNC price decreased by 19.71%, currently trading at $0.00019.
As was updated in an earlier Coincu News article, prosecutors in Seoul said on September 26 the international police organization issued a Red Notice for Kwon. He faces charges in South Korea related to the wiping out of $60 billion in cryptocurrencies he created.
Previously, the Terra co-founder denied running away, however it contradicted the prosecutor’s allegations. It was because of the inability to locate Do kwon that made the Korean arrest difficult.
Because of the serious nature of the case, Korean prosecutors asked Interpol to issue a red notice against Do Kwon. At the same time, the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor’s Office added that it had asked the Seoul Foreign Ministry to cancel Do Kwon’s Korean passport for absconding.
Binance is also divided in the community with the proposal to introduce a 1.2% burning tax on LUNC transactions. This is also one of the reasons why the price of LUNC has continuously decreased since the 23rd until now.
