Blockchain oracle provider Chainlink Labs has unveiled an initiative to promote the growth of the oracle-related blockchain ecosystem.
Sustainable Chainlink Access for Layer 1 and Layer 2 Enablement is known as SCALE. By lowering access and financial barriers to Oracle services and configurations, the program aims to expand decentralized application ecosystems in the Layer 1 and 2 sector.
Chainlink oracles enable on-chain smart contracts and applications to make secure, decentralized use of off-chain data.
SCALE seeks to enhance the data security, usefulness, and running costs of Chainlink oracle services.
The first blockchains working together on this project with Chainlink Labs are Avalanche, Metis, Moonbeam, and Moonriver. The running costs of Oracle Networking will be covered by each ecosystem.
In order for blockchains, decentralized applications, and the Chainlink ecosystem to succeed in the long run, Nazarov claimed that Chainlink Economics 2.0 and SCALE have established a “holistic economic model” that is workable.
