Today, the exchange announced that Canadian users can make payments with Google Pay using Crypto.com Visa Cards on Twitter:
According to the announcement:
“Google Pay is a fast and simple way to make payments on sites, in apps, and in stores. It brings together everything you need at checkout and protects your payment info with multiple layers of security.”
The Crypto.com Visa Debit Card is offered by Foris Inc. The Cards can only be loaded with Canadian dollars and not crypto assets. All transactions are denominated in Canadian dollars.
Use of the Card is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable Cardholder Agreement and fee schedule. All transactions are converted to Canadian dollars and can be loaded onto the Crypto.com Visa Card for use in purchases and ATM withdrawals. ATM bank fees may apply.
Virtual cards do not require activation. Users may use the virtual card instantly for online spending after top-up via the Crypto.com App. POS and ATM transactions are not supported by virtual cards, these transactions require a physical card.
To request a physical card, users can tap “Get Now” on the card page after the virtual card has been issued. In June, the exchange launched Crypto.com Visa Cards in Canada to serve the needs of its users.
