South Korea Said Do Kwon Needs To Return His Passport Within 14 Days

According to a notice on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea, Do Kwon has been ordered to return his passport within 14 days, otherwise it will be administratively invalid. The government said the notice was being posted publicly due to an “inability to deliver” the passport return order.

On May 10, the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a notice asking Do Kwon to return his passport within 14 days. After 14 days, if the passport is not returned it will be legally invalidated. The government said the notice was being posted publicly due to an “inability to deliver” the passport return order.

This is the result after reviewing an application made last month about the seizure of Do Kwon’s passport. In the document, it is mentioned that Do Kwon’s passport renewal application may be refused.

Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs Requests Do Kwon Return Passport

The move comes shortly after it was reported that South Korean prosecutors told local media that they had ordered the freezing of nearly $40 million worth of crypto assets they claim to have related to Kwon.

Even so, Kwon still refused to acknowledge the above information and insisted that he did not use the mentioned exchanges and that he did not own the money.

Currently, the exact location of the Terra founder is still unknown, South Korea is still in the process of investigating the Terra (LUNA) crash that rocked the cryptocurrency market in May.
