Visa has partnered with one of the world’s leading crypto exchanges FTX to launch bitcoin and crypto debit cards on a global scale.

According to the latest announcement, the debit card will be rolled out in about 40 countries and will all focus on Latin America, Asia, and Europe. The tokens will connect to this crypto account of the user and are already accessible in the US.

FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried said in the statement that “This card allows users to make use of their FTX crypto balances 24 hours a day, 365 days a year securely and with no administrative or processing fees”.

This FTX card allows users to spend money directly from their accounts. The card is accepted at any retailer that accepts Visa debit cards.

Visa continues to make inroads into crypto and this is Visa’s most recent move into the industry, bringing the company’s total number of crypto partnerships to over 70. The business, which has its headquarters in San Francisco, has previously collaborated with FTX’s rivals Coinbase and Binance.
