NFT marketplace aggregator Gem’s developer Vasa tweeted that Gem now supports the NFT rarity protocol OpenRarity launched by OpenSea.
In the meantime, users can now refresh metadata, price, and ranks for any collection or any specific item on Gem on their own using the “refresh” button.
OpenRarity is a community-built project that aims to provide a transparent, mathematically sound rarity calculation that is entirely open-source and reproducible by anyone. The goal is to bring more transparency to a previously opaque and confusing space.
Last month, OpenSea announced that they have developed OpenRarity which aims to create a completely transparent, open-source, math-based rarity ranking algorithm for a better user experience.
