LayerZero Labs, situated in Vancouver, has announced a partnership with Aptos Labs. During the launch day, Aptos will use LayerZero’s technology to provide interoperability, security, and seamless omnichain transactions on their Mainnet.
Aptos announced the creation of a new Layer 1 network in its initial post earlier this year. While contemporary blockchains have been rapidly accepted by crypto natives, Aptos Labs discovered a lack of mainstream crypto acceptance.
The blockchain is designed with scalability, safety, and user experience in mind, in addition to aiming to be Layer 1 for mainstream adoption. The LayerZero integration makes it easier and more secure for Aptos developers to construct next-generation apps.
The hyper-parallelized on-chain order book built for web-scale speed, Econia, a product development studio producing Liquidswap AMM and Wallet, Pontem Network, cross-chain communications, Notifi, and DEX allowing users to lend, borrow, and swap using Aries Market are among the applications.
With over 20 of the largest early Aptos applications building on Aptos Devnet, LayerZero technology enables teams to ship crucial infrastructure, cutting-edge applications, and advanced tooling for the entire Move ecosystem and beyond.
