The Push Chat brings Web3-native secure, wallet-to-wallet messaging to everyday users. It allows anyone with a wallet or an ENS to chat with others directly and supports texts and images.
According to the announcement:
“Text, GIFs, and images are supported in the alpha. With a couple of web3 steps added in, Push Chat operates just like a typical messaging application — just web3-native. Features to be added down the road include video, group chat, payments, transfers, live chat, and more.”
And Polygon Wallet is a Push Chat launch partner, laying the groundwork for intra-wallet chat, which allows users to interact without having to switch between applications.
The Push Chat alpha will be available today for developers who hacked with Push at ETHBogota.
Push Chat is the next step in Web3 communication. Push Protocol has spent the last two years developing the most frequently used push notification service in Web3. Push Chat fulfills the team’s pledge to produce the most useful, widely used, and user-friendly communication protocol for Web3.
