As CoinCu reported, the initiative, dubbed The Eternal Collection, was created in partnership with NFT design studio Orange Comet and contained 1000 original cinematic art pieces inspired by the actor’s many performances throughout his film career. Initially scheduled for 7 pm UTC, the drop was delayed by around 45 minutes due to technical issues caused by huge demand.
The mint price for each NFT was 0.25 ETH (about $325). However, the collection’s current floor price is 0.69 ETH ($885). Notably, NFT holders can win personalized NFTs from Hopkins, as well as an autographed art book and a Zoom chat with him.
Anthony Hopkins has lately added an ENS domain to his Twitter profile, indicating his interest in Web3 and NFTs. He also appeared in the science fiction film Zero Contact, which was distributed through the NFT platform Vuele.
