Optimism Launches New 3D Metaverse Game “OP Craft” With Game Studio Lattice

Optimism has launched a super reverse 3D OPCraft game with game studio Lattice. OPCraft runs on the OP Stack architecture, a modular open source engine dedicated to blockchain, and all in-game operations are driven by Ethereum transactions.

On September 18, Ethereum’s layer2 scaling solution announced a partnership with game studio Lattice to release a new 3D metaverse game “OP Craft”.

OPCraft is a craft-based voxel game where every element that exists on-chain and every action is an Ethereum transaction. OPCraft runs on the op-chain, OPCraft’s network runs on Optimism’s OP Stack architecture, with simple adjustments made for higher throughput and shorter block times.

It runs on a custom Optimism test network that will only run for about two weeks until October 31 at 23:59 UTC.
