Celer Integrates With Aptos Mainnet

Cross-chain interoperability protocol Celer Network announced integration with the Aptos mainnet and now supports the bridging of USDC, USDT, WETH, WBTC, and DAI between Ethereum and Aptos, and the bridging of BUSD and BNB between BNB Chain and Aptos.

cBridge smart contracts on Aptos have been fully audited. Since the bridging smart contracts on Aptos and the Aptos blockchain itself are both still new, for the first few weeks, Celer cBridge will be operating in the Optimistic Rollup-like security model for all transactions bridging into Aptos.

Celer is a blockchain interoperability protocol enabling a one-click user experience accessing tokens, DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, governance, privacy solutions and more across multiple chains.

Developers can build inter-chain-native dApps using the Inter-chain Message SDK to gain access to efficient liquidity utilization, coherent application logic, and shared states. Users of Celer-enabled dApps will enjoy the benefits of a diverse multi-blockchain ecosystem with the simplicity of a single-transaction UX, all from a single chain.

Celer enables asset bridging between external chains and Aptos via xAsset, a lock-and-mint technique. Furthermore, talks are underway to incorporate the Inter-chain Messaging Framework, a general message-passing protocol, to allow developers to construct dApps with cross-chain application logic on Aptos easily.

This allows dApps to not only develop smooth cross-chain UXs between Aptos and multiple external blockchains but also sets the groundwork for NFT bridges, the ability to acquire and bid on NFTs across different chains, cross-chain prize claiming, and even cross-chain game statistic synchronization.
