CryptoRank: Assessment of the performance of IEO projects in the past year

Do you remember the trend? IEO exploded in February 2019? After more than 1 year, this trend has cooled, but it still brings enough profit for users. According to statistics from CryptoRank, Gate.io, Binance and Huobi Global are the 3 platforms with the most profitable projects.

IEOs are similar to ICOs, except that they are launched instantly on an exchange. The phenomenon started drawing attention in early 2019 with the start of the Binance Launchpad event.

CryptoRank: Average profit number according to the exchange

According to statistics from January 1, 2019 to May 19, 2020, a total of 107 IEOs were completed. Among them, Gate.io is the platform with the best average ATH returns. Although there are only 12 IEOs, fewer than the Binance 1 project, the overall profit percentage has reached 956%.

Binance ranks second with 13 IEOs, but the average ATH yield is just 692.14%, which is below Gate.io’s 263.86%. And in third place is Huobi with 7 projects and 632%.

In terms of current average ROI, Binance has no rival (122%).

Based on the current listing and the ATH ROI in USD of the recently listed IEO, we can see the Sero (SERO) project on the Gate.io platform as the project that brings the ROI (ATH USD) the highest up to 53.67 times. In terms of the amount of money the projects raised the most after the IEO, Gatechain Token (GT) was also on the Gate.io platform.

In terms of USD ROI, the IEO Matic Network (MATIC) project on Binance Launchpad is the highest at up to 8.66x. MATIC delivered some interesting setups in 2019. Back then, the cryptocurrency rose almost 100% in just 10 days. It can be seen that most of the USD ROI comes from Binance IEO projects.
