Specifically, Blockchain.com‘s newly launched product will offer a 1% cashback in crypto for every purchase to encourage the public to use it.
There are no enrollment or yearly fees. The card’s waitlist had 50,000 sign-ups when it launched, according to the business. It will be implemented in other nations beginning in 2023.
Cuy Sheffield, head of Crypto at Visa, stated:
“At Visa, we believe for crypto adoption to grow, it’s critical for it to be easily accepted everywhere. We’re excited to partner with leading crypto wallets and exchanges like Blockchain.com to unlock more ways consumers can use their crypto for everyday purchases.”
Binance, FTX, Coinbase, and BlockFi have also launched crypto cards recently.
