Recently, Arbitrum has just announced the launch of the mainnet Arbitrum Nova. With the launch of Arbitrum Nova, Arbitrum now has two separate Arbitrum chains running directly on the mainnet that can support any blockchain use case: Arbitrum Nova and Arbitrum One.
Arbitrum Nova is a new chain built on Arbitrum’s AnyTrust technology – a new technology developed by Offchain Labs that aims to reduce gas fees, increase transaction speed, and alleviate security concerns.
With the launch of Arbitrum Nova, Arbitrum now has two separate Arbitrum chains running directly on the mainnet that can support any blockchain use case. Arbitrum Nova will be the solution of choice for Social and Gaming applications, while Arbitrum One (a chain built using Optimistic Rollup technology) will continue to be the home for DeFi and many NFT projects.
In this regard, the developer of Arbitrum said that Nova will be a solution for games and social applications, and the existing Arbitrum One will continue to use DeFi and NFT. It will be the home of the project.
