On October 29, Web3 multi-chain wallet appealed to the hackers who attacked the BitKeep Swap via on-chain messages, urging hackers and imitators to respond within 24 hours and return the stolen fund.
It is understood that with the support of security agencies and business partners, BitKeep has captured the main identity of the hacker.
Before that, this platform released a notice about 99% of victims’ compensation has been completed and also sent a message to the hacker and 5 copying criminals to refund the amount and will deduct 5% as a bug bounty.
In the latest announcement, the multi-chain wallet platform offers the last chance for hackers to refund within the next 24 hours or else will assist and unite affected users in legal recourse.
As previously reported, BitKeep Swap was hacked on October 18. This platform immediately announced full compensation and cooperated with security agencies like SlowMist to conduct a security upgrade. BitKeep Swap security upgrade is underway and BNB Chain Swap functionality has been restored.
