According to CRO documents, the exchange previously established six operations in Ireland.
According to the article, the exchange founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao remains a director for the company’s previous six Irish firms, and his residential address has been altered to match his new residence in Dubai. He Jinkai, Binance’s head of custody, is apparently a director of one of the Irish businesses.
With a new legislative framework in place, Binance sees Europe as the global headquarters for the crypto business. In addition, the firm has lately obtained many licenses in Europe, including Cyprus, Italy, and Spain.
The exchange chose Paris as its European center after the French financial authority awarded it a license to provide and advertise its services to local clients in May.
