On November 3, according to the official announcement, the ApeCoin DAO community voted to approve the AIP-134 proposal to establish a bug bounty program for the smart contracts of the APE sharding system.
This means that the launch date of the APE staking system will be postponed until the end of the bug bounty program.
The proposal says the bug bounty program will last about 3 weeks, so the staking system will probably go live on November 24th and the distribution of staking rewards will start on December 7th.
In addition, the DAO proposal on “Special Committee Member Nomination Procedure” AIP-137 and AIP-138 “Special Committee Member Election Procedure” have been approved and the ApeCoin Foundation will submit Nominations announced tomorrow.
On October 30, the DAO community released a draft AIP and the ApeCoin community proposed to launch a multi-million dollar bug bounty program. The proposal proposes to use treasury assets to fund Immunefi’s $1 million APE to support bug bounty programs and to work with Llama to design, implement, and run these programs.
