Surojit Chatterjee, Coinbase’s product director, has departed as the business reorganizes its design, engineering, and product teams.

According to SEC filings, Chatterjee’s departure was by mutual consent, and he will continue to provide consulting services to the exchange until at least February 3, 2023. On his LinkedIn page, Chatterjee has worked for Coinbase for nearly three years.

This change is part of Coinbase’s larger effort to reorganize its departments. Following Mr. Chatterjee’s departure, the exchange has restructured its product, engineering, and design teams into a product team structure, with the heads of those teams taking responsibility for the product offerings.
