White House Speaks Out About FTX Case
During a press conference on Thursday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre informed reporters that the Biden administration is aware of the most recent FTX developments and will keep an eye on the situation.
Jean-Pierre stated:
“This is something that clearly we monitor and that we see as an important issue. The most recent news further underscores these concerns and highlights why prudent regulation of cryptocurrencies is indeed needed.”
As Coincu reported, the US Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) previously said they would open an investigation into the exchange’s collapse.
