Web3 Platform Virtualness Raises Over $8 Million With Polygon Ventures Involved

Web3 platform Virtualness closed over $8 million in a seed round led by Blockchange Ventures with participation from Polygon Ventures, Micron Ventures, Oceans Ventures, and others.

According to reports, Saurabh Doshi, former Head of Meta, Asia-Pacific for Entertainment, and Kirthiga Reddy, former Managing Director of Facebook India and South Asia, co-founded Virtualness, which is slated to debut in the first half of 2023. They stated:

“We’re excited to see how creators and brands mimic various physical experiences in digital forms and in newer ways. This is about building a new economy – unlocked by branded digital collectibles that deliver unique experiences, capability and value.

Our belief is that everything that can move from a physical form to digital will move.”

Authenticated brands and creators can use Virtualness to design, mint, and display branded digital collectibles, share content easily across social media channels, engage directly with their community, enable one-of-a-kind experiences, and open up new revenue streams.
