On November 14, the company said that it had partnered with MSF Africa. A key fintech organization in the region, MSF Africa, will use ODL, a crypto solution, as part of the partnership.
Dare Okoudjou, CEO of the provider of mobile financial solutions, commented on MSF Africa’s choice to work with Ripple:
“The Ripple MFS Africa partnership represents a confident, important and bold first step for our crypto strategy to leverage blockchain technologies to amplify our impact on consumers and businesses on the continent growth in a new economy.”
The relationship, according to the Ripple team, is a victory for financial inclusion in Africa, and ODL is beneficial to markets that frequently suffer from liquidity sourcing.
The team continued by saying that as the partnership between the blockchain company and MSF Africa, which operates 800 payment corridors throughout the continent, develops, the whole area stands to reap the advantages of financial inclusion.
