Since Musk’s acquisition of Twitter was completed late last month, there has been a rash of internal conflict and personnel reductions.
A senior software developer named Hamdi Allam has also quit Twitter’s crypto group.
Along with mass layoffs, Musk, who is also acting CEO of Tesla, recently advised staff to resign if they were unable to adhere to a demanding work schedule. Elon Musk is currently in full control of the company.
What will happen to Twitter’s blockchain-enabled initiatives is unknown in light of the recent departures, concerns about the platform’s demise, and Musk’s efforts to transform the company.
Some reports suggest that Musk will integrate blockchain into this social platform as well as include Dogecoin in payments.
