ZkSync Complete Its First Security Audit Conducted By OpenZeppelin

The Ethereum scaling mechanism ZkSync has passed its initial security review in advance of this year’s expansion of user access.

The audit was carried out over a four-week period by OpenZeppelin, a reputable crypto auditing company. Between subsequent audits, OpenZeppelin is offering on-demand security input and has tasked technical and security consultants to supervise the platform.

The security assessment gives consumers and protocol developers further confidence in network security.

The audit enables protocols and users to expand to the new network and conduct transactions with more confidence. For instance, some well-known decentralized financial protocols, like Uniswap and Aave, have committed to launching on the platform.
