According to one Twitter user, Binance CEO must have spoken with Do Kwon and failed to warn the crypto community about the infamous collapse.
CZ clarified that, to the best of his memory, he never spoke directly with Do Kwon.
Binance CEO stated he never spoke with Do Kwon in person or on a conference call. During the crisis, however, the Binance team interacted with the Terra team.
CZ tweeted earlier this month about Binance selling $500 million in FTT tokens, causing widespread panic. Several people misinterpreted Binance CEO’s tweet as a warning against FTX, saving them from going down with the exchange.
The now-defunct exchange FTX is being actively investigated by the Bahamas authorities.
