Attorney Released New Dates In Ripple Lawsuit With SEC

The long-running dispute between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States and Ripple is nearing the end of the Summary Judgement phase. However, in the XRP litigation, attorney James Filan has released a revised timeline.

According to attorney James Filan, sealed answers to summary judgment oppositions are due by November 30, 2022. Conference redactions are due on December 2, 2022. He also mentioned that redacted responses are expected by December 12.

Filan emphasized that these dates are based on the redacted Summary Judgment petitions, which were due on September 19, 2022. They were, however, submitted on September 17, 2022. The redacted opposition responses were due on October 24, 2022; however, they were sent on October 21.

He stated that Summary Judgement petitions were filed in the early stages of the Ripple case. This implies that the redacted responses will be completed by Friday.

The redacted replies to the Ripple lawsuit are also expected to be filed soon.
