Atari And Pixels Are Collaborating To Produce Print-On-Demand NFT Artwork

A new partnership between the video game business Atari and the print-on-demand firm Pixels now enables owners of its NFT collection, Atari NFT, to create framed prints and posters.

Owners of Atari NFTs can use AtariPrints.com to print tangible reproductions of their NFTs, which come in five different sizes, by connecting their Ethereum wallets to the website.

“There’s no easier way to transform your NFT business into a physical art business,” noted Sean Broihier, CEO of Fine Art America, in a press release, adding: “We’re very excited to partner with Atari to show the NFT community what’s possible when you allow NFT holders to transform digital assets into physical products.”

“With the recent rise in popularity of NFTs, it was a natural fit to expand our printing capabilities to the NFT community,” added Sean Broihier, CEO of Pixels.

To honor the classic Atari 2600 gaming machine and commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary, the 50 Years of Atari Atari NFT collection was released in September. There are 2,600 things total. On the NFT exchange OpenSea, its floor price is currently 0.068 ETH ($83.37).

Atari has long supported the web3 industry. Manfred Mantschev, Atari’s Head of Blockchain, stated in September 2021 that the company intends to profit from the “land” it owns in virtual worlds created by Decentraland and The Sandbox.
