The following spot marketing pairings will be eligible for free trading: ETH/USD, ETH/USDT, ETH/USDC, and ETH/BUSD. Customers who pay their trading costs using BNB tokens will also receive extra trading charge savings, according to the exchange.
Brian Shroder, CEO and president of Binance.US, said in a statement:
“Over the course of the year, we have sought to thoughtfully grow our business with customer experience as our guidepost.
By eliminating fees first on BTC and now ETH, we are further cementing our position as the low fee leader in crypto, raising awareness for the high fees consumers are paying on other platforms, and helping to restore trust in the greater ecosystem. Now, more than ever, it is critical that platforms operate with users’ interests first.”
In an effort to attract more customers, the exchange, a unit of the largest crypto exchange by volume, became the first U.S. crypto exchange platform to abolish Bitcoin trading fees in June. It stated at the time that it would do the same with other tokens in the future.
Binance.US is reported to have pursued a bid in the Voyager acquisition following the collapse of FTX.
