The team plans to finish its security audits by January 2023.
As Coincu reported, Matter Labs unveiled zkSync V2 in late October.
According to Matter Labs’ official roadmap, the Baby Alpha launch will not be available to other projects. Still, it will instead be used to run zkSync’s systems through a series of real-money stress tests to help them ensure the production system is running correctly and performing as intended.
The team stated that network readiness would dictate all product launch dates. Because they’re going completely open source with their Fair Onboarding Alpha, the security and robustness of their code help not only them but the whole ecosystem and community.
