Hooked Protocol, a Web3 social network, tweeted on December 18 that it had discovered a minor security vulnerability with their uHGT tokens and that the team had published a fix to mitigate the issue. Hooked Protocol will provide a new in-game token to address this issue shortly.
According to the team, an explanation letter will be provided soon. Please be assured that the user’s BUSD asset and everything surrounding the HOOK token are safe as usual.
When asked if the event affected uHGT holders, the team said that a new token would be created to represent all existing uHGT holding balances, and that users should be patient and wait for the impending announcement.
