Kim Kardashian says “EthereumMax”, but SEC won’t be happy

Kim Kardashian promoted EthereumMax on her Instagram profile and urged her followers to check out the platform, and she isn’t the only celebrity to have done so. But read more in our latest crypto news first.

Celebrity influencer Kim Kardashian posted “EthereumMax” on her Instagram profile and her presence on social and online media should not be underestimated. Her fan base has 228 million followers on Instagram and around 70 million on Twitter. The Kardashian story begins with “Do you like crypto ?????” followed by a disclaimer that she does not share legal or investment advice. He is said to have just shared a hot tip from her friends:

“A few minutes ago, EthereumMax burned 400 trillion tokens – which means that 50% of their admin wallet is available to the entire E-Max community.”

In the end, after adding a few hashtags to the story, Kardashian added a token AD hashtag encouraging their followers to swipe up and join the E-Max community. Kardashian isn’t the first celebrity to endorse the recently launched ERC20 token, but it is trading at $ 0.0000001662. EthereumMax has a celebrity PR campaign because it “st Crypto Coin once accepted tickets to a major battle for the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul PPV event on June 6, making Kardashian the first or last celebrity to speak about the project.

It can be said that at least 228 million people have heard of the EthereumMax project, but what will the US Securities and Exchange Commission say about this project?

As previously reported, prosecutors and Feds are demanding a “substantial prison sentence” from Centra Tech co-founder Robert Farkas. Farkas, who co-founded Centra Tech with Sohrab Sharma and Raymond Trapani, pleaded guilty to cheating investors out of millions of dollars. DJ Khaled and Floyd Mayweather were paid to promote Centra’s fraudulent ICO when they settled fees with the SEC in 2018.

Sharma pleaded guilty to charges of wire fraud, securities fraud and the postal fraud conspiracy, so Trapani pleaded guilty. Any charge has a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison. DJ Khaled and Floyd Mayweather were early supporters of Centra Tech’s initiative and paid a heavy price for it. The SEC claims Centra paid Mayweather $ 100,000 to promote the ICO and Khaled paid $ 50,000. Both celebs have settled allegations of non-disclosure of payments.
