Quantum Temple Raises $2 Million In Pre-Seed Funding To Leverage Web3

Key Points:

  • Quantum Temple raised $2 million to create a network that uses blockchain technology to conserve cultural heritage.
  • Borderless Capital is the lead investor in the round, with Shima Capital and Algorand Foundation also contributing.
According to GlobeNewswire, Quantum Temple, a Web3 platform, raised $2 million to support its efforts to protect cultural heritage with blockchain technology and non-fungible currencies (NFTs).

Borderless Capital was leading the pre-seed round. Shima Capital, Algorand Foundation, Outliers Fund, and New Moon Ventures are among the other investors in the round, according to a business news statement.

As stated, Quantum Temple is preserving cultural heritage and facilitating equitable transactions between collectors and ancestral communities by utilizing blockchain technology and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Quantum Temple has established a decentralized platform that archives and finances cultural heritage representations through digital, physical, and experiential NFTs with the assistance of a diverse team of advisers.

Quantum Temple now is assisting in ensuring that these cultural manifestations are not lost owing to inequitable economic distribution, violence, and forced migration by taking on the critical responsibility of conserving the knowledge and traditions of at-risk ancestral groups.

We’re committed to building a transparent and regenerative funding model to preserve cultural heritage. We’re committed to using blockchain as regenerative finance infrastructure to allow a new transparent and equitable funding model to preserve cultural heritage and positively impact ancestral communities working in the sector.” said Linda Adami, CEO of Quantum Temple. “To achieve our mission, we’re connecting philanthropists and culture patrons who are committed to protecting cultural heritage and its role in maintaining our collective identity, beliefs, and purpose.

Linda Adami, CEO of Quantum Temple, said in the release

According to the business, the use of NFTs can provide new economic options for local artists and cultural keepers, which can promote regenerative funding for communities.

Currently, the project provides two membership tiers with the purchase of a Cosmic Egg NFT. A silver egg costs one ETH ($1,391), while a gold egg costs four ETH ($5,564). The impact fund treasury receives half of the membership fee, which ensures member governance votes.
